“Exactly David”, said Robert Sir, “It is important that there is ‘scope’ in a field. One should know whether many computer programmers are needed, or pharmaceutical sales people, or textile designers or whatever. The requirement of jobs keeps changing, so it is equally important that one is interested in that field and is good at it. If that is not the case, then you may not do well in that job or you may not be happy. My niece is now doing so much better and is even earning more than some of the computer programmers. Imagine David if I had become a farmer instead of a teacher, just because my father was a farmer.”

David Uncle started laughing at this, “You are a great person Robert Sir, but I can’t imagine you as a farmer for 1 minute. You wouldn’t be able to negotiate with the farm labour and the traders. And I could never be a teacher like you. My 2 boys  drive me mad at home, I don’t know how you have made hundreds of students like them become sensible and disciplined. If I were a teacher, I couldn’t last one day in school with all those brats!” Both of them were slapping each other’s backs now and laughing.
