Bhau’s story helped us understand the importance of making good decisions. Let’s discuss more about decision-making. Decision making is the ability to choose one of the various options available. For example, you are in a shop to buy clothes. You have a variety of clothes differing in colour, design, price, quality and so on. You should think about all these factors before deciding what to buy. If you buy the dress with all the money you have, you will have no money left to buy anything else that you may want. But you may feel sad later. Or you may really want the most expensive dress and spend all your money on that. You may feel happy and don’t mind not buying anything else. Have you heard the saying ‘You can’t have your cake and eat it too!’? Decisions are like that- you can’t have everything, so you have to make a choice between things and be willing to pay the price of your choice.
