Story 1
Babu is a popular boy in class. He is always the first to offer help to the teacher or other students, and his smiling face is seen everywhere as he zips around school giving messages, doing chores, carrying registers and helping keep discipline in the younger classes. When the school had its annual function, Babu worked tirelessly. He was always the first to arrive and the last to leave and all the teachers agreed that the major work of setting up the stage and organising the younger children was achieved because of his efforts. Babu is happiest when he is on the move doing something.
But the one thing Babu does not like is sitting in one place and studying; so he often gets poor marks. His teachers despair of him passing his seventh class exams and his parents have threatened to make him leave school next year if he fails. Over the years he has come to believe that he is stupid and will amount to nothing.
