Rema woke up early in the morning and asked his mother whether she could help him with a stitching job. His mother replied affirmatively. He was impatient and couldn’t wait for the evening. As soon as he got back from school he went to Ropuia’s house. Ropuia had just finished lunch and was surprised to see Rema. He thought that after the fight, Rema might not come to play with them till they pleaded, as he was the one who had a bat. Ropuia greeted him hesitatingly and said “How are you?’’ Rema was embarrassed, but he gathered his nerves and asked him, “Ropuia, can you give me your favourite brown shirt? My mother will stitch the pocket and make it look just the way it used to be.’’ Ropuia gave a big hug to his friend and said “Yes, please take it and be on time for our game tomorrow evening. Renu aunty has returned the ball.’’

Next evening, all the boys gathered on the street to play. One of the boys tried to voice his disagreement, “I like playing outdoors, but can we not play other games like football sometimes?’’ Rema said “Yes, I think we can allow others’ choices too, what do you say Ropuia?” Ropuia hesitated for a second, looked at his brown shirt with the repaired pocket, smiled and said, “Yes, let’s discuss which other outdoor games we can play together.’’
