Rina and Zika are reading an interesting story about a crow. Let’s read with them.

A crow lived on a tree in the forest. There was a lake besides the tree. The crow often admired the swans swimming in the lake. He thought, ‘The swan can swim so easily in the water. Swimming is fun and whatever he eats is available right there in the lake.’ This swan must be the happiest bird in the world. He tried to swim in the lake and almost drowned.

He shared his feelings with the swan. . The swan replied, “Actually, I was feeling that I was the happiest bird around until I saw a parrot, who can imitate human voice and gets to eat nice fruits.’’

The crow then approached a parrot, and asked her to teach it to imitate human voices. The crow tried doing this but only the sound ‘caw, caw’ came out; the crow was sad and told the parrot- you must be the happiest bird in the world. The parrot explained, “I lived a very happy life until I saw a peacock. The peacock can dance beautifully. It also has a very loud call, which warns the other creatures in the jungle about any danger. I think the peacock is the happiest bird in the world.’
