When the Social Studies teacher came to the classroom, Rami raised her hand and said, “Ma’am I have a question for which I am not getting the correct answer. The teacher said, “What’s your question? Let me see if I know the answer.’’ Rami asked, “Ma’am which is the most beautiful monument of India? Taj Mahal, Qutub Minar or Konark Temples? Or is there some other monument I’ve never heard of!’’ The teacher smiled and paused for a while. Then she addressed all the students and said, “I’ll ask you some questions and you have to answer them. Shall we start the quiz?’’ Rami was puzzled. She had no option but to listen to the teacher. She just wanted the answer to her question.
 

The teacher started the quiz and the students gave answers.

“Which is the highest mountain in the world?’’

“Mt Everest’’

“What is the capital of Maharashtra?’’

“Mumbai’’

“Which is the biggest animal on Earth?’’

“Blue whale’’

Then the teacher said, “All of you gave the same answers for these questions because these are facts and cannot be changed. Now answer these questions.’’

“Which sport is better cricket, football or tennis?’’

There were different answers from the class. The teacher asked the next question, “Who is more popular Sailova, Maggie, Andrew or Feli?’’
