Life does not always go the way we want. Sometimes we are faced with problems. Today we will look at ways in which we can deal with problems by discussing the story of a girl called Lali
\r\n \r\n\r\nStory
\r\n\r\nLali\u2019s father died a few months ago, while coming home from the factory where he worked. He had just got off the bus when a speeding car lost control, climbed on to the pavement, hit him and sped away. He was rushed to the hospital but died on to the way, leaving his family of 5 without any income; apart from the dues (money) that factory gave them. For a few months they managed with that money but now there is very little left. Lali\u2019s mother has already begun working as a domestic help in 4 houses but it\u2019s not enough. Her two younger brothers, twins, are in standard 4. Her grandmother is at home, bent and frail after losing her son, but managing the housework, while Lali\u2019s mother is at work.
\r\n\r\nLali is in Std IX, but her mother has told her that she may have to leave school if they can\u2019t make enough money. She is terribly upset by this because she has always been a good student and was planning to join a nurse diploma course after Std X.
\r\n", "content_org": "The story is a very good way to share with the children, that life is not always rosy, it is full of challenges and the way we \u201cfair\u201d our lives depends on our responses to the hardships, our ability to make right decisions at the right time and our attitude and strength to face the problems and reasoning out to find solutions to them. In this story , the death of the bread winner results in putting a lot of emotional stress on Yasmin, who aspires to be a nurse. Despite being a good student, the financial condition has put her in a tight spot where she cannot decide whether to drop her school and instead work for wages or do both.
