\r\nKanasu's Uncle: Yes, the ones here are fresh.
\r\nSahir's father: Now, one of you go and check if we have electricity and switch on the pump.
\r\nDanny: Sahir, you go.

\r\nSahir's father (loudly) : Make sure the light is on! (Sahir going)
\r\nDanny: Don't you think, with the canal being built, our fields could get more water?
\r\nSahir's father: Yes, we might.
\r\nDanny: How about growing sugarcane then?
\r\nSahir's father: Danny, you give suggestions, but you don\u2019t do any work.
\r\nDanny: I have other things to do. I have decided to join the new youth group in the village. They are going to organise activities around the new health centre.
\r\nSahir's father: What other things? You finished your 12th standard last year. Now you while away your time doing nothing. You should be helping me in the field.
\r\nDanny: Father, I wish you would listen to what I want. Don't you think it should be my decision?
\r\nSahir's father: Your decision? You don't even think about asking me for my opinion, do you? You know that I need your help in the field. Sahir does not have time from school. Why should you do something else?

\r\nSahir: Father, I have decided that I'm going to be a geologist.
\r\nDanny (laughing): What?!
\r\nSahir's father: Oh, you two day-dreamers!

\r\nDanny: Are you sure that is what you want to do? You are too young to decide. Do you even know what subjects you should be studying to become a geologist, which courses\u2026.

\r\nSahir: Our teacher told us today that a new Science teacher will be joining the school in the new term. He is from the city and could have more information about these things. I shall ask him. You would not know.

\r\nSahir's father:Stop arguing now, the two of you, and help me finish loading this cart.

\r\nDanny: All the sacks are loaded. I want to go too. My friends are waiting.
