    "content": "<h2>Using a scale to measure the mustard seeds</h2>\r\n\r\n<p><br />\r\nIn this part we will find out how to use our regular scale, with millimeter marking to measure the average diameter of the mustard seeds. the scale is not suitable for measuring the diameter of a <em>single</em> seed (Why?), but for a bunch of seeds this can be used.<br />\r\n<br />\r\nFor this we will align the seeds in a line and measure the length of the these aligned seeds. We have to repeat this task for 10, 15, 20 and 25 seeds (you can choose to do more also). For each set of 5, 10, 15... repeat the measurements for 3 times, with different set of seeds (Why?). Each time we will record the number of seeds and thier combined length. Make sure that you take these precautions.</p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>The seeds should be alinged properly.</li>\r\n\t<li>There should be no gap between the seeds.</li>\r\n\t<li>Use different seeds for different observations (Why?)</li>\r\n\t<li>Make sure that the first seed is alinged to the zero mark on the scale, or any other mark on the scale where you choose to start measurement.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<blockquote>\r\n<p>Note: This is a homework activity.
