The Archery World Cup started in 2006. 
It became popular in the Summer Olympics of 2004. 
Archers participate in four different stages of contests. 
Then they qualify for the world cup. 
The Indian archery team contested in the 2016 World Cup and won 3 medals. 
Deepika, Bombayla Devi and Laxmirani defeated China and won a silver medal.
