Amplitude using Audacity

Now we will use a tool to \"see\" sound on the computer screen. There are several buttons at the top left corner of the tool. We are going to use the \"record\" and \"stop\" button in the tool. Keep the microphone close to the source of sound.
\r\n
\r\nSuppose you choose to snap your fingers. Now press the \"record\" button. Snap your fingers gently and then snap the hard.
\r\nClick on the \" stop\" button.
\r\n
\r\nYou can see that the louder sound has a bigger wiggle and the lower sound has a smaller wiggle.
\r\nYou can say that the louder sound has higher amplitude than the lower sound.
\r\n
\r\nTo open the Audacity, use the following directions:
\r\n1. Go to Start (windows icon)
\r\n2. Type Audacity in search tab
\r\n3. From the result shown, click on Audacity
\r\n

Make a new folder of your name or your group's name on Desktop. For this-
\r\nGo to Desktop-->right click-->click on New-->click on Folder-->type the name that you want to give your folder.
\r\n
\r\nTo save your file, use the following directions:
\r\n1. Go to the File tab
\r\n2. Click on the option- Save Project As
\r\n3. You will get a warning. Select ok
\r\n4. Save in-Desktop
\r\n5. Select the folder that you created on Desktop
\r\n6. File name- Type your file's name
\r\nYou need to give different name of each file.

\r\nTo open the saved file, use the following directions:
\r\n1. Close Audacity Software (click on x sign on the top right corner)
\r\n2. Go to Desktop
\r\n3. Click on the folder that you created, select the file that you want to play(with Audacity icon).

\r\nNow choose the sounds that you want to \u201csee\u201d. For e.g. you can clap or bang the table or say \u201caaa\u201d - change the volume of the sound and observe the amplitude of higher and lower volume. You can also look at the wiggle for the sound made by your design in section 1.4.

\r\nChanging volume means you are changing amplitude.\u200b

\r\nTake a screenshot, before saving it and uplaod it in gallery on platform.
