Sound

The aim of this module is that students learn basics of sound by following the process of science and develop questioning ability through investigative, constructive and collaborative learning. We know that sound exists because we hear different sounds around us all the time. Now we shall try to understand the concept of sound. We shall learn how sound is produced, the way sound travels, etc. We say that sound is intangible i.e. we cannot touch it or see it, we can only hear it. We cannot see sound but feel its effects. Although sounds are common and almost everywhere, the physics of sound is not so commonly understood. In this module, we shall be exploring everything we need to know about sound.
