Let's Write in Ratios







 

 

Jamuni is enjoying the mela with her friends. While walking around, she notices many interesting things. She and her friends are writing ratios for their observations.

A farmer is selling 4 cows and 8 pigs. So the ratio of cows to pigs is 4:8.

Help Jamuni write her observations as ratios.

  1. There is 1 boy for every 2 girls at the giant wheel. .

  2. A farmer has 10 chickens and 2 goats for sale.  

  3. Leena’s mother is 3 times as tall as her.

  4. Geo is 2½ times shorter than Inspector Kaata.
