Activity 5: Reference Usage Information

Monthly average usage of mobile services for four persons - Heena, Prathamesh, Sandra, Gurmeet is given below:

1. Using the given three tariff plans, draw the graph for each category.
2. Create the slider and intercepts.
3. Using the slider, find the category-wise usage charges for any two of the following persons.
4. Can you suggest which of the given three plans will be suitable for them? Why?

Here, you need to provide the average monthly usage information for a person and choose a suitable plan for that person.

To collect monthly average data,

• Take the average phone call and data usage information from your friend/ mother/ father/ sister/ brother etc.

• Note down category-wise usage information and charges paid. These can be pre-paid or post-paid plans.

• Now, visit the nearest mobile service provider shop and collect different tariff plans available.

• Draw the graph for each category and choose the most cost-effective plan.
