A louder sound gives a bigger wiggle

This session contains a tool "Audacity" to analyse the sound. Student  can see sound signal using this tool. Ask them to read the instructions carefully. Ask them to use the tool to analyse their own voice signal or some other sound.
A tutorial video is given in this section. You should get familiar with the Audacity prior to conducting this session. Make sure that students get the idea that loudness and and amplitude is related and could be easily seen on the screen. 
We used the term "wiggle" for the waveform formed on the screen.
